Great day!!
Well before the rains fell. :D

One of my 1:08s.

Really wanted a 7 but that will have to wait till next time.

Lots of spills and some really close calls.
It is just that kind of track.
Is what makes it fun

Thanks to all who helped run the day.

Thanks to the club for putting another great day together, I loved the track and am looking forward to getting out there again at the next club day at South Circuit in August!

Being my first day there it took a while to get used to the place but I ended up with a PB of a 1:04.85 which I was pretty happy with.

Thanks also to the club for doing the sighting lap, it was really helpful.

Thanks for the day and getting to meet everybody. I'll be back it is a fun track, but not in the wet... Called the day early as the car had developed a miss at around 6,000 just after the wet.

Big thanks to Vern for showing me the lines and the quickest way around the track, sorry it was not a turbo Vern but hope you enjoyed the drive. Happy with the lines, just need to sort out gear changes.

I just realised I still have the numbers on the car so I'll get in contact with the NSW club and find out how to return them.

Thanks to all involved for putting an another well run day. I think we all manged to get as much track time as we wanted.

Nice to meet you Magpie and it was pleasure to drive a naturally apirated car again after many years and show you the lines. I would love to have a drive of a car like yours at full noise around a curcuit, I am sure it would be a very quick and fun car to drive.

Sure was a top day with a little rain thrown in to spice it up at lunch. Was pretty daunting being in group 1 watching Daniel and Todd come screaming up in my mirrors after a few Laps! I Learnt some new lines and Ended up taking around half a second off my best and finishing with a 1.05.15 I'm sure there's a 1.04 in it next time!

You should update you sig with the new PB Dennis.
You seemed to be doing well, car looked stable, even though you did a bit of gardening later in the day :-) Pictures can be "lost" for the appropriate fee :-)))

Another awesome track day. Thank you to all the organisers.
The drizzle in the afternoon made it interesting but the track dried out quickly.

I was wandering who dragged all the grass and mud onto the track near the start finsh line.

Excellent times Dennis. The car looks very composed and quick and obviously is being well dríven.

Guilty

Thanks verne, still got a lot to learn. Like how to resist the red mist and stop overdriving the car.

The car needs a diet, raceseat and a harness

I have uploaded my pics from the day here

Not many interesting ones, as I was not able to get around the circuit to different viewing spots :-(

Also, results are up on the club website

Super day and heaps of runs available although I stopped after 6. Set a series of PBs and now into the 1:10s. I need to lose another second to be comparable with my Wakefield Pk times. My car is one of the least modified in Group 6 but I'm happy with it as it is very reliable and a delight to drive. Only further mod I will consider is a LSD. Used my HANS for the first time and it did irritate during the first run. After that I forgot about it and everything was fine. Thanks again to Mike and the crew/marshals for the organisation and smooth running of the day. Sorry to see Zan stepping down as she has been fantastic for many years. I'm sure her replacement, whoever s/he is, will do an equally impressive job.
