The brains trust is kindly suggesting the missed shifts are the result of a weak selector fork and or worn gearlever bush. I put it down to a rusty driver but happy to take Bill's explanation.

Your car looks great Craig! This meeting inspired me to get my car cosmetically tidied up (respray!) and am working on getting the car to a point where I can join in the fun this year at the MX-5 Cup races
