I just had a Sparco Sprint fitted to the standard runners which makes it as low as possible.

Pretty sure using the standard runners will actually make the seat as high as possible, which is why a lot of people will use something like these instead: http://www.sportseats4u.co.uk/gsm-mazda-mx-5-sidemounts/prod_3239.html
