MX-5 Cup Round 3

Only 2 weeks to go until round 3 of the MX-5 Cup. Coming into this round Steve Green leads the championship, on 42 points, with Scott Walker second on 39.5 and Stu McFadyen 3rd on 35. Matilda and Andy are breathing down his neck though on 34 apiece.

This will be our first round at the tight and technical SMSP (Amaroo) South circuit, it should make for some great racing, so get your entry in now if you haven’t already. It’s also our first MX-5 Cup round run at a FOSC meeting. Those who have raced with FOSC before should have been sent an entry form with their details already filled in, those that haven’t raced with FOSC, the entry form is available for download from the FOSC website front page:

For friends, family and the curious, it's a great chance to come out and see what the MX-5 Cup is all about, being so close to Sydney. There are some great viewing points around the South Circuit, so come out and check out the action. As well as the MX-5's tearing up the track, there'll be Excel racing and a host of other historic and interesting cars to lay your eyes on. Anyone wanting to know more about the Cup, stick your head in the pits and say hello!

As usual we will have trophies for all 5 class winners, and prizes from our sponsors.

Every entrant gets a sticker pack – including their mandatory Cup car sticker – and a Cup cap. If you haven’t received yours already come and see us at the next round to claim it.

Couple of pointers.
You need to get your entries in with FOSC. Right away. We have a strong field that have registered their interest with us but now need to submit your entries with FOSC.

For any newcomers - firstly, great to have you on board! Please note - you can partake in one round of the MX-5 Cup as a 'come and try it' competitor. But you will not participate in the points distribution, or any resulting trophies or prizes. These are available to Cup entrants only.
