I drove up beside a black NC1 on the Mitchell this arvo. Driver just looked straight ahead. Tapped my horn just a wee bit. No response, still looking ahead. Can't believe how wooden some MX5 drivers are.

Midnight flight to BNE tomorrow, back next Tue.

Been invited out by some locals to Whoop Ass Wednesday drags on 10/09 so going there, plus helping him out with some advice to help car go faster (loose weight in the car/driver).

Head back to QLD on18/09. If you have a MX5 meet up let me know and near the city let me know and I'll try and pop in.

MX-5 club having a motorsport event on Sunday the 14th which will be followed by a massive car show with over 1000 performance/hot rods/muscle cars etc. , should see if you can make it for that.

As long as im free, i'd be happy to take you for a spin around Perth and show you around.

Thanks. I have just looked at the WA Club website and impressed with the number of motorsport events as well as driver training events!

Tempting to see if I can be relocated to WA for the project I'm working on. However driving my MX5 from Brisbane would be an experience, towing it would be a shame...

I'll see if I can arrange my day to attend, at least some of it. Anybody going through Perth city on the day?
