MX5 Parade Lap for Celebrity Racers

Had a blast over the weekend at the Melbourne Grand Prix courtesy of Mazda. A bunch of 20 of us from the MX5 Car Club got to do a lap around the GP circuit, taking a celebrity each around just before their race on the Sunday at the F1 GP. Our cars were bumped in on the Wednesday night, and cleaned each day. I must admit it was a bit weird leaving my car in the park each night.
Mazda did a great job of looking after us in their hospitality area.
Unfortunately the Marshals made us all take out the cameras. so alas no video footage. And Channel 10 didn't air any of it live to air either. But I don't care as I had fun. Nevertheless a mate of mine with a telephoto lens managed to get a few shots.
