... Tyrepower North Melbourne in joint with Chasers Motorworks are very
proud to bring you our first Dyno Day Event!!
We will be holding a dyno competition in 7 different categories and only be taking 50 cars and a dozen on standby if time allows so be quick! We are taking pre-bookings NOW!

Competition Categories

Dyno categories are listed below and rules are simple! Car with the high power output by the end of the day on the chasers dyno will collect prizes! So easy!
Front Wheel Drive
Rear Wheel Drive
All/Four Wheel Drive
Naturally Aspirated
Forced Induction
LOWEST POWER OUTRIGHT
HIGHEST POWER OUTRIGHT

The Dates

Date: Saturday, March 17
Meet time 8:30am Sharp, Awards given out at 430pm
First 10 cars MUST be ready to jump on the dyno for their runsby 845am SHARO! The first car will start spining on 9am follow by the next car not long after. Be early and don’t be late or your spot will be forfitted!
*Note cars deemed to low will not be allowed on the dyno*

The Cost

Cost will be a low $50 which includes 2-3 Power Runs and a print out to
take home. BBQ will be included for all participants with potential prizes to be won.

Just looking at the way the classes are done would make it very limited for MX5 owners.

Any of the dyno shootouts I have been to break them down into 4,6 and 8 or more cyl classes also. Obviously winning isn't everything, but it would be nice to be in with a show to start with.

You could feel contect that you where the most powerful MX5!

This is also a relatively cheep way to find out how much power your car realy makes.

I will need to do some tune work with the boost turned up and a bigger injector for this event (Currently turned down to avoid the open class in the motorsport series).
