Taking a day of leave tomorra if I can get up at 4.00 a.m.. The whole point is that it's early and not a weekend, so the Camry and Campervan population should be down. Be nice if I wasn't Robinson Crusoe, though.
Cheers,
Alf

yes its a perfect time to do the g.o.r. midweek and an early start.
a while ago i had to drop my girlfreind at avalon airport at 6 am on a weekday. i continued on to the g.o.r and did the whole road without encountering another vehicle on my side of the road. yes, the whole g.o.r to myself.
amazing experience, it would be even better with a whole bunch of mx5's to share the trip.. have fun tomorrow guys.

it takes about 20 hours to complete and i only got 3 days to do it..
so no taking a day off!

I went on the run just came back will post up the pics soon.
The 5:30 am start was a pain, was worth it just to skip city trafic.
It was a plesant 30ish degrees, the sun came up just as I reached anglesea.
We stoped at lorne for a quick break and a photo oportunity and then we drove to apolo bay where we had coffee and breakfast etc.
The atmosphere was laid back and the pace was a cruse, almost felt like a holiday, pity it ended so soon. I should have taken the oportunity and go visit the Twelve Apostles (next time).
There was light traffic, vans, cars, camper vans etc, and you all know what that can be like in an MX5 pure frustration.
Thanks for organizing the event...

I dont think you have to be a club member to go just rock up and drive your MX5.
To be totally honest I would like to see more youth join the club (no offence to the old folk).

I haven't joined yet as I cant see the point to doing so until I'm actually able to drive with them
I think i'll join pretty soon as I dont have too long to go
The other two pictures you've added are nice too, it looks like it was a good turn out.
Ben,
