This is a complicated night... I'll meet everyone at Java as I'm only leaving now, so I'll see you around 9-9.30 ish. Stereo still isn't complete  could finish it tonight but would miss the meet and I'm too frustrated with angles and cuts not working out

Another great turn-out with some Toyota 86 blow-ins

StockNA graced us with his presence and his sub woofer ideas (is 4 of them really enough????)
CheyneX5 critiqued the food (but didn't bring the camera??)
CookiieMonster brought John, who brought "the boys", and I think they brought the firecrackers
thegubble brought the red NC, which is progressing along really well. I look forward to the tablet install. Should be awesome!
shuey brought attitude  seriously man, what have we done to you??? I personally like 4wd's 8)
jimmy_vee brought one of the best decked out NA's I have seen in Victoria. Discreet, yet quality modifications. :BROADY:
FFG brought Anna cos she makes him look good

Quote of the night goes to the 86 boys who admired my "cute" intercooler.
I had no comeback.....

As for the food van? Great food.
I wouldn't mind doing Footscray Park, as there are 3 vans there.
Just a suggestion.

Footscray park is a great idea. I liked the park. It was good. Maybe ill bring a pinic blanket too so not everyone feels the need to sit around it haha

Considering the good weather may I suggest sky high this week?

I should be ok this week.
May I suggest that we meet at the car park just on the sky High side of Ferntree Gully railway station on Burwood Hwy at 7.15 for a 7.30 start. I think the restaurant closes at 8.45 for serving.
Remember that there is a a fee for parking. Off the top of my head it is $5.00 per car.
Cheers!

Or maybe meet at Ringwood and then take Mt Dandenong Rd to Skyhigh? Might be easier for those who's coming via the Eastern Fwy.

Ok, to clarify Rod's suggestion, how about this (for those of us not coming from the eastern side):
Meet on Thursday night at 7:15pm at the Upper Ferntree Gully Railway station, Burwood Highway Upper Ferntree Gully. We will meet at the 2nd carpark (just past the traffic lights opposite the pub-Royal Hotel).
We will leave for Sky High at 7:30ish. If you are running late, and want us to wait, just put up a post or PM one of us.
There is a gate fee of $5 per car.

Leon, do you want to post up an alternative meeting place and time for those from the east?

I just realised that the last awesome run I had to Sky High was almost 6 years ago!!
March 2008.
There were quite a few turbo mx5s back then......

Would love it if mine was turbo, maybe next year, but on the plus side I should be able to supply music for everyone :D
Sub box should be done by then.

Also meanmx, if you're coming this week could you grab a tape?
