Because it's a warm Thursday night and Williamstown will be packed.
You are highly unlikely to find close by parking.
In the cooler months, Groove is a good call but summer in Willy is packed.

Never tried them, but I have seen them at Yarraville (Hanmer Reserve) on Wednesdays. Pretty sure they close up around 8:30ish.
It's just an option.

If anyone is interested, there are food vans at both Footscray Park and Yarraville Gardens
They are both close to Java.

Footscray Park has:
-White Guy Cooks Thai
-Yogurddiction

and Yarraville gardens has:
-Smokin' Barry's

and there is a Mr Burger Van in Footscray itself.

I will give Smokin' Barry's a try tonight@Yarraville Gardens.
I'll be there around 7:45-8pm to get some food and chill out in the park.
It is only 900m from Yarraville Park to Java

Maybe take some happy snaps with the new addition..... :mrgreen:

Ok, are you guys gonna be hanging out at the Yarraville Gardens? or later on converge at Java? Since I'm gonna be one of the late arrivals, just wanna be at the spot where you guys are at. see ya guys later.

Just drive by the Yarraville gardens on your way through if its before 9.....
