Yes.
No answer.

Another option relatively close by are the food vans at Footscray Park, next to Flemington Racecourse clicky here
Never tried them, but I have seen them at Yarraville (Hanmer Reserve) on Wednesdays. Pretty sure they close up around 8:30ish.
It's just an option.

Then again, I liked the souvalaki/gyros/kebab that Skyee/John took us to last month.....

any other ideas?

Can't really find anything on Urbanspoon.. there are some cafes in Camberwell (586 Burke Road) about 11km from GPO, but I'm not sure if anything is open late
