As of yesterday, or the day before, whenever Dave emailed me there was still at least a spot left so give him a call.

woohoo! Thanks Dave.

Tyra cranked out 73.7 kW and 1993 Newtons. (Yes, she's back - FINALLY!)

Bog stock NB, result seems to be consistent with other cars in previous years so I'm happy with that.

Spill the beans Fatty. That post a little too cryptic

just in relation to the new motorsport rules ben..... thats all.

i advanced the timing a bit recently, which has pushed me up to 120.8 rwkw

i'm gonna have to retard the timing down again, to get below the 120rwkw limit for my class.

the biggest improvment would have come from my new exhaust tho.

Mate, flatten off the power curve so you have (just under) 120kW for as wide a rev band as possible and you'll be laughing all the way to victory.

Very nice Fatty. Just a thought. The two dynos I have been on both vary wildly with their outputs, so how do they say for sure that you are over? Can you use a different dyno for a different result. Have to remember to get myself an exhaust

yes ben, at first i thought maybe the dyno is a little optimistic. but then again as matty said, most of the other cars there were stockish nb's, they all seemed to be putting out results that seemed consistent with previous results and published data. the SP that was there also came out bang on what you would expect it to be.... so i'm thinking the dyno was pretty accurate.

hmmm so 120rwkw from say 3500rm all the way thru to 7000rpm. yeah sounds good to me

not sure i have the technology to acheive that tho, matty. maybe i should splurge on an electronic boost controller eh!

Ooooops. Who said you can't have too much power? :D

Ben

... and that won't work because that's the dyno we'll use as our reference dyno for classifications.
