distribute the vid how you want. (I'd prefer it done priveately though)

My statement was more about the run itself though.

The run was no different to any other "club" run

Think i'll stick to producing videos from DECA and track days from now on

I thought the GOR run was very tame compared to some official club runs I've been on. :?

No broken windscreens or damaged noses this time!

Well back home after my 2500km trip to Melb (purely to buy the paper and milk)

Thanks to Chrissy for the run and to Roni (Fig?), Mike (Fast Freddy?) and Ben (Zimma?) for all the light hearted banter during the day. Highlight of the day had to be Mike's honesty in proclaiming his new found love for the colour 'Crystal Blue'

Just a few pics - edited to resize via sab's software

I guess it's time to put a post up.....
Thankyou one and all. I had an absolute ball of a time.... :D :D
The highlight would have to be the run PCMX5 and myself did on the GOR section b/w Lorne and AB. We basically had the road to ourselves. What an absolute hoot that was.
The curvy section between Lavers Hill and the 8.5 apostles was uber cool as well. Though, I pulled over a few times to give myself a clear run. It gets tedious waiting behind tourist traffic. Not to mention all the stones that get thrown up as they (the touristy people) cut verges whilst rubber necking at the impressive views. Each to their own...........
PB and his delightful sibling - you guys were a hoot  Absolute pleasure to meet you. And yeah, the blue is damn nice. I think that when ignoramuses/philistines refer to it as "baby blue" it is out of sheer envy. I think "oxford st blue" is more appropriate...   It is a nice colour, though it pains me to admit that....
Dino's ride looks so sweet with the 18's fitted. just need the rear suspension attended to and that thing will handle like it should.
Seeing Sab's car always gives me ideas on what next to do to mine.

All in all, what a banana's day. It was great to meet all of you and put names to faces. I am so looking forward to the next one.........
cheers
mick (MIX-5)

Yeah, enjoyed that too 'Fast"!!!!!

Vampyre and I had a good run home inland from Apollo Bay;he even conceded that he had had a hard time keeping up with the Mx around the twisties in his Boxster!!!!! It looked magnificent in the rearview solid and flat through the corners

Sorry I had to bail out early.

Perhaps this will silence all the doubters about how good the GOR is,especially early in the morning; I did Geelong Apollo Bay and back this morning, leaving at 6 am. Aplollo bay at 7.25, breaky and back home by 9.45.

I am sure everyone who went will reckon it was worth getting up early for!!!!
