Club Torque is the quarterly magazine of the MX-5 Club of NSW. It is published as a full colour glossy magazine, posted to all financial members of the MX-5 Club of NSW.

The Winter 2012 edition of Club Torque is now available for download from the Club website. Click the thumbnail below to access the PDF version. This edition features coverage of several recent events that were discussed on mx5cartalk: Central Tableland Weekend (the cover shot & feature story), Charity Run for CareFlight, Brass Monkey & Return Run, Hawkesbury Valley Run, Wakefield Park Long Circuit, and all the club trackdays and supersprints.

The Spring 2012 edition is due in mid-November and will be my last as editor. After two years in the job, I'm taking another position on the Club Committee. Neilhr will be the new Publications Officer, with help from a couple other familiar forumites. I'm keen to see what Neil does with the magazine as he has the graphic design skills to take it to a new level! 8)

Bryan, it looks like your last Club Torque as editor will be my first as a member - although I've actually been getting Clubtorque magazines for a while now.

The Spring 2012 edition of Club Torque was posted to MX-5 Club of NSW members on Monday. The new look magazine has been made possible thanks to the amazing design & editorial efforts of Neil, Andrew & Timothy, and also to the committee for approving an increase in the budget for the magazine. We're all anxiously awaiting to hear what you all think of it. :D

It must cost a lot of money publishing this ie members pay for it. A perfect way to trim a budget no more dead trees is write and e mail only. It would work.

All the more to look forward to when I get home on Friday ! Bryan, a big shout out for your efforts. The last 2 years have been a Quantum Leap in quality in both content as well as look and feel. Really appreciate what you've done. I have no doubt that the new crew will take the batton and run even harder !

Yes I think new members get the previous issue, I got the Autumn issue when I joined mid way through the year.

Yes that's right. Now that we're printing the magazine by offset, we're getting some extras run off and mailing them out as part of the "new member pack". It's a good way to get them up to speed with what the Club's been doing.

Awesome.
Much prefer a paper mag, I spend too much time at a computer as is. Plus club membership isnt exactly expensive...

With a loud Clunk! The postie dropped Club Torque into my mail box . Now to find time to read it !

Subjectively it seems to weigh more and the paper is of good quality. But does the paper have wash and wear properties?

I'll test it over lunch while eating a curry.

looking good....

cheers
Chris
