David Raddatz has agreed to lead a limited number of MX-5s from McGraths Hill fifteen minutes after the main run in his street legal 160 kw turbo charged white NA, that you can negotiate to buy. The delayed start is long enough to prevent a pursuit from developing and ensure that everyone gets to Broke before 9.30 am. David’s run is for 14 selected drivers whose MX-5s, experience and road ethics are known. Early applications will be given greater consideration.
There are strict selection and road rules to maximise on road safety and ensure that there is no inappropriate conduct or racing on public roads, see the Application Form from the Links below. David will drive to the conditions on the day holding the speed limits up hill, down dale and through the twisty bits. If you apply you must be confident that you can safely keep up.
If you wish to seek selection into Raddatz RoadRunners, you need to pre-register and complete the separate Application Form that is in the links below. Applications will be accepted from 1 April 2010 and the 14 MX-5s selected to join David will be announced after the 9 May 2010 registration close off date.
MX-5 TUNING FORUM
David Raddatz will hold a MX-5 Tuning Forum in the gardens of Lavender Gate Farm over tea and coffee starting at around 11.00 am. MX5 BREAKFAST CLUB RUN RULES
The most important things to keep in mind at all times on a MX5 BreakFast Run is the run is not a road race; use your common sense; drive within your ability and that of your MX-5 and remember that it is not your role to govern how fast the cars behind are to travel. There should be no problem in letting a car safely pass if a gap opens in front of you for any reason. There can be a problem if you are inconsiderate and hinder others from passing you to continue at the speed at which you are comfortable so that everybody has fun and enjoys a stress free drive. A link to the Run Rules is set out below.
