Sunday 22nd Feb: Dodgy Day

Haven't heard or seen ones in Sydney before, so I thought around this month would be a good time to get one up. Not really sure what protocol there is for a dodgy day, but if we need a flat surface then my street / driveway isnt the best place to have one going. If someones willing to host, I think we'll have a great day. Thoughts on this?

*edit* -- DODGY DAY will be taking place on Sunday the 22nd Feb. Alex is cooking lunch :D Pm me if you are interested and I'll swing you the details.

Apart from location, you'll also need to know what type of dodgy stuff needs to be done.

So what do you need done/fixing etc?

I wanted to get a rollbar installed first and foremost. I also need brake pads changed, but I may go professional as I may need to machine my disks as well. I may have others but I'm a bit blank atm.

Hey gobs, if my seatbelt tower brace gets in the way of the rollbar, you're free to take my one, which I took from mattie - which he made. Hahaha.

Oh and I also thinking we do a really awesome wash / clay / buff since we've all been talking about it. When are people free normally?

If I offer to do something girly like cook, can I come and socialise?

I can do mechanical stuff too, but most guys prefer the help of other guys.

I'm in too, if one is organised. I just hope it does not conflict with something I've already got on.

Alex, for me, it doesn't matter if your male or female. A helping hand is a helping hand.

If need be we can always get you doing what the missus does for me when I'm working on the car....Stand next to the toolbox and retrieve bits as I ask for them. Best part is she offered to do that job "I dont know how to work on a car, but I can help u by passing you tools" lol

hahaha yay! looks like we have a good dodgy day lined up!

Yes we can do it at my place, I only have 2 spaces in my garage so if you need flat level space keep that in mind. Other than that I'm happy to host it, bring some beerskis and some food and we'll have a good day!

Fuzz, its not exactly a BD roll bar (and I still gotta pick it up after I get back from overseas), I'm guessing people want this organised on a weekend? I'm thinking 21st or 22nd of February, but I can do any day of the week since I'm on uni holidays :P

Let me know what days you are not available / preferred day.

Yeah, I get the same one from my missus.

She also gets into jobs like helping my heat-tape my intake, and holding random sh*t while we drill/bolt/break it, and un-doing bolts im not strong enough to do lol! :D

Arent we lucky? -

All Wayne ever does at our QLD dodgy days is turn up (rarely) and cook (although he is funny to leave trapped on the roof without a ladder), and he's masquerading as a bloke in an apron with no spanner ability whatsoever.....

So if you can cook, and turn a spanner, and look better in an apron or a set of overalls, then you're welcome at our QLD dodgy days too :D :D :D :D :D :D
