any advice on what to get helmet wise (aside from one thats adr approved) and what i should be expecting/ should do to prepare the car for the night???

Cheaper the better IMO. as long as its ADR approved(Motorcycle Helmut) they work as good as a the expensive ones.
scrutineering is pretty easy, the main thing checked is that the battery is tied down properly, and nothing too loose or dangerous looking in the engine bay. and dont forget long sleeves and pants(non-plastic)
I would also recomend keeping the car as light as possible, removing subwoofer boxes etc, I remove everything out of the boot and keep a bottle of tyre repair, and keep the fuel load below 1/4.

If anyone else needs a helmut i may have 2 spares

Timewise, i guess it depends on what you mean by mild N/A. most guys are doing low 16's in NB's but i think with a few tips and practice 15's should be possible(depending on temps).

It will be good if we get alot of simmilar performing cars their(as most of the N/A cars are) then lining up next to each other will push each driver to get the very max out of their car just by trying to edge infront.
That IMO is what makes dragracing exiting, when cars are equally matched irrespective of power developed, and thats why there is Brackets in dragracing making a fair an close race between an 11s car and a 14s car.
Most of our cars are simmilar, so hopefully many turn up and we can have some close fun racing 8)

I'm going even if no one else does.

I'll be there with my NA6 at about 5pm maybe a tad before.

Have any of you ever come off a bike or seen what a $100 helmet looks like after a heavy stack?

I have and I have also seen a $250 and a $900 shoei, spend the money.

It's your head.

any ways, mine was around $300. thst's for the track and drag's on my bike I have a shoei, it was $820.
