Peninsular Sportscars Tech Talk Night
Club members don't forget.
When: Tuesday 22 July 2008
Meeting: 39 Winbourne Road, Brookvale
Time: 6:30pm
Details: Have you ever wondered what is required to make your MX-5 perform and handle a little bit better on the road or maybe you’re toying with the idea of racing?
Peninsular Sports Cars is a company that has been servicing and race preparing older British sports cars (MG’s, Healy’s, Sunbeam’s, etc) for many years but has recently seen the light and moved into MX-5s.
Those attending this tech night will learn what is required to race prepare and set up an MX-5. We will hear about engine tweaks, suspension modifications, roll bars, etc, etc, during a comprehensive tour of their workshop. I’m sure they will probably talk about those ‘other’ sports cars as well. Then we can head upstairs to check out a wide range of race gear including helmets, race suits, steering wheels and accessories. This is not one to be missed by those who enjoy a little bit of enthusiastic ‘mountain’ driving or maybe the odd trip to Wakefield.
