Eastern creek skidpan day 30/4/07

hey guys, just wondering who is going to the skidpan day at Eastern creek on april 30????
i will be making the trip from the central coast and as this is my first skidpan day im wondering what to expect. any insights???
is it also worth bringing my camera and tripod???

I'm going. This will also be my first skidpan day, so I'm not sure what to expect, but I'm sure that it will be a lot of fun

Yeah I'll most likely be going. Ive done the skid pan days at oran park, but that was more emergency stopping etc (which I must say was useful though), but this course is more hand brake turns, mild drifts etc

does anyone know how long it takes (at leagal speedlimits) to get to eastern creek from hornsby??? it takes me 1hour 10min to get to hornsby now because of the roadworks and am just wondering how much further the creek is.
mini cruise anyone ?????

40 minutes or so. Maybe a little longer 'cos of all the school zones (unless you get there by 8.30)

just got my mx5 2 weeks ago, so when I took her to mx5 mania they told me about it I signed up. It will be my first skid pan day so can't imagine I will do to well but should be fun.

There's a few spots left. $200 includes lunch and refreshments.
Should be fun. I've never done a skid pan day either so not sure what to expect.
