Just a suggestion would anybody want to go on a Christmas Lights cruise to a few of the best places in Sydney? I don't really know of any good places (cause I can't remember where they are) but I know there are a few good streets around where almost all of the houses in the street are lit up - merrylands and hornsby i think.
Anyone just wanting to know if anybody would be keen in organising or coming along to such a cruise at night in a few weeks when everyone has time to put up their chrissy lights.

Nah mate - wouldn't live there for all the money in the world (fireville) but they do put on a show - one way in and only one way out!
The western side of the Gorge has just been resurfaced and is still a nice drive too.

Haha fires arent a problem. We had a massive one back this time in 2002, but there wont be a large one like that for a few more years. Its just about being prepared during the fire season. During summer we always have a suitcase packed with a couple of days clothes + toiletries, photo albums etc, so that if we have to go, we're not stuffing around trying to work out what to take
