NSW CLUB - OCTOBER BLUE MOUNTAINS RUN - NOW WITH PICS

Postby Gramps » Wed Sep 13, 2006 3:10 pm

THIS RUN WILL BE IN TWO STAGES:

STAGE 1: Meet at Rofe Park, Hornsby Heights at 9am for 9.30 start. The run goes thru Galston Gorge and the back roads of Arcadia then via the Cattai Ridge Rd. to Pitt Town, McGrath's Hill and Governor Phillip Park at Windsor to meet with STAGE 2 participants.

STAGE 2: Meet at Governor Phillip Park, Windsor at 9.30 for start around 10 - 10.15 after arrival of Stage 1 cars and briefing.
The combined group will head through Freeman's Reach, cross Bell's Line of Road to swing thru Grose Vale countryside and stop for a coffee break in Kurrajong Village. The drive will resume on the Bell's Line of Road heading to Bell and turn off there for a mountain top run ending at Mt. Victoria for lunch.

No advance notice required - just turn up at the venue which suits you best. All details are in the Club's October Events Circular.

O.K. people, now that Stefan's mighty Putty run is over and leaves you with memories to dream about it's time to saddle up for this run up the mountains - a variation on one of Craig's runs.
We have made it easy for you with two starting venue options and we are assured of dry road conditions as everyone knows it never rains up there in the Sydney catchment area :P

Aw, sorry Agro. Must have been that big bottle of red talking.
See you on Gramp's run....and bring that tall streak of misery with you. He's been missing inaction also.

Looking forward to having you on board. The Windsor rendezvous on this one should be right up your alley (in your backyard, that is) :P
