NSW Tech Talk Wednesday 5th April

Postby Benny » Thu Mar 23, 2006 1:18 pm

For all NSW members, and those that are thinking of joining!!!

We're holding a Tech Talk at the service centre of AMR Motors on Wednesday the 5th April at 7pm for a 7:30 start.

Get in early as AMR are very kindly going to supply us with a sausage sizzle and soft drinks. Thanks John.

We've got an expert from Toyo tyres coming to show us their new range of track rubber and also to introduce a new line of high performance street rubber.
John Healey and his team of experts will also be showing us their very latest Mazda diagnostics and will be showing it to us using a new NC.

And wait - there's even more.......but you'll have to come along to find out what.

AMR service is at 3-5 George St, Leichhardt which is small lane just off Parramatta Rd, just before the lights at Flood St. If coming from Parramatta, you can turn left into George St, and if coming from the city - well just send me a PM and I'll explain how to get there.

We will have Steve Burke from Toyo attending, Steve is the resident expert on competition rubber, and will also give a good run down on their new T1R street tyres.
This is a very emmotive area, lets hope we get the good oil on rubber.

From personal experience, Toyo have some awesome products.

We will also have a couple of the guys from Blairs Tyres attending. They will relay some experiences from Classics to Targa. And if you want some rubber, get in their ears.

Should be a really interesting night.

Grip on Terra Firma, absolutely essential.

So, put aside the time, have no doubt that you will go away with some additional knowledge.

Sorry, I can't make it either, off to Singapore tomorrow and only found out today.

Steve Burke used to be quite active in the wrx club so I was looking forward to asking lots of questions.
