1AM is a good time to get to bed before a day of driving right?

great run got to windsor just after 6 leave at 6.10 with the first group. got to do 2 runs of the gorge before 2nd group arrived then turn around and head home. bit wet on way back past half way house. but after getting the gorge dry it didnt matter. great time to do it too beat all the other traffic. and home in penrith by 10.30.

Thanks Sliq, excellent run... sorry I did a badBong and got lost ... didn't get the first run up the pass quite as clear as I wanted to so thought I'd go back and try it again... was excellent, except everyone had disappeared by the time I got back. No problem, headed off down Charlton Rd > Paynes Crossing Rd > Peats Ridge and got home in time to take the kids out in the afternoon.
My return route was bumpy, but a quick quick run with long fast sweepers and minimal traffic (only for a bit before heading off to Peats Ridge).. v.happy.
Oh Sliq, dibs on the SMB... it should fit under the brace right? PM moi!

Excuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuse me?!
We were too busy finding the rightful owner of a dog that was zigzagging along a stretch of 100km/hr road
Luckily a local drove pass and recognised the dog immediately and gave the owner a call to pick him up - although they did take almost 30mins to travel 10kms of road...
Looking forward to the photos.
Sliq - Mate, you'll be sorely missed. Stick around on the forum and grab yourself a sturdy NA when you've got some spare cash again

Re: Informal Annual Putty Rd Run Sunday 16 January 2011
Left home at 4am this morning after ~3 hours sleep
Was first to arrive at Maccas (shock! where's all the MX-5s!?)
Had an AWESOME run up Putty Road with the first group, including another brilliant return pass through the final 20km+ section south of Milbrodale (Russ made his brake rotors turn blue keeping up with me ).
Demolished a big breakky at Hunter Valley Gardens
Cruisy drive home with most of that first group again ... Midori, Russ, badbong, et al ... including seeing that convoy of Ferraris, Lambos, 911s etc near Wollombi.
Battled to stay awake on the M2 / M7 / F5 / F6 ...
... and 660km later, I'm home at last! Massive day and I enjoyed every bit of it ... well except for that last bit of boring motorway.
Thanks for organising the day sliq!

+1, awesome run sliq!
quite nice how there was minimal traffic and no incidents! (apart from the dog on the highway)
the ferraris made a very nice sound zooming past! (were they 355's / an enzo? they all look the same in red )
