Ditto on the thanks. I had an enjoyable drive. Experience some roads that I've never been on before, added to that some great company. So all good. Well done Bryan.

lol so much for nah wont be going much over the speed limit :p
it was good fun though and i cant wait to get the eunos onto the track (ill have to pull apart the dash and remove the limiting screw (benifits of an 89 model)) as i may need speed on the track

Guran wrote:Thanks all for your kind words. It was an excellent day for me too, and I enjoyed being given the opportunity to lead a club run. Believe me, it is a rewarding site looking in your mirrors and seeing a conga-line of MX-5s stretching for a kilometre or so behind you! Did anyone do a count? I was too busy to do it myself. I'm also pleased to have been able to put something back into the club that I get so much enjoyment from.
How good is it to see such a broad range of people on a club run? Both genders well represented, from P-platers to grandparents, with all stops in between. And everyone was there to enjoy an enthusiastic drive in the country.
Thanks to everyone for maintaining the gaps, and especially to those who stopped to help out Dominique . With such a large group, I'm amazed that we didn't lose anyone (that we know of!), and that both venues managed to serve us in a timely manner. Both venues sincerely appreciated our custom and I hope that many of you return in future to sample more from their menus.
... and just to answer the question again: my NA6 does not have a turbo or any engine mods - she's totally stock apart from the rollbar and seat. I guess it's another example of "it doesn't matter how big it is, it's how you use it".
Lastly, my thanks to Michael for all his guidance and help with planning this run. I thought I knew a lot about doing these things, but definitely learnt some new tricks.
I hope to organise another run next year, this time covering my backyard in the south coast and southern highlands. I know of a great little vineyard at Cambewarra that makes a perfect lunch spot for a large group.
Now ... I'm keen to see some more photos since I didn't take any myself. Please post them up.
You pick the month ,
I will do all the housekeeping and
Everyone who joins us can enjoy a good run with a breakfast thrown in at new vineyard

Believe it or not, the pace I set was nothing that would land me in trouble with the rozzers . What you do to close the long gaps when you finally overtake slower cars is entirely your choice.

Send me your email address or phone number to michael@spankosoulos.com or give me a call on 0413 11 33 99 during busines hours and we can talk about the run and explore our options on a merger of your Putty Road Run with a BreakFast Club Run similar to what occured on the Iceberg Run last month.
I might be able to change you to a .
