A big thank you to CB for organising a well run fun day and great to see so many turn up to run their cars and watch. A special mention to Gramps for slaving over a hot BBQ to keep us all fed. 8)

I'm extremely disappointed with my run. I lost 15.5kw compared to the dyno run I had at Chiptorque running pretty much the same boost. That seems like an aweful lot of dyno error to me.

I still recon the guy left the handbrake on.

Next time I want a turbo kit built I'm going to see Allan. He has one well sorted NA6. 8)

How many bloody threads do you need for the one event :P
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Indeed!

Made the manifold, dump, piping and just about everything all by hiomself! Made great power for relatively low boost!

Lack of quality boost control and an ageing engine means I doubt you'll see 200 from my 1.6 again...

Can't wait to get the new car going though

A big hello to everyone on the forum. It's about time I got of my backside and contributed instead of hiding in the background so to speak. Thanks to Garry and Sean on those kind words about the car as alot of you already know the FI road is a very slow,bumpy,foggy.........one best travelled with a thick wallet and plenty of patience.I'd like to post my Dyno chart and a couple of engine bay photos but in typical newbie style I don't know how so any help would be appreciated. Cheers Alan.

Gotta invest on that $5 'T-piece' mod for my SP

The difference between Steven's SP with the T-piece mod and my stock standard SP is 23kw ATW!!! (153kw vs 127kw respectively)

Best bang for you buck modification ever!!!

I love that stealth install Al. You always see heaps of silverwork on turbo installs, but I really like the subdued look.

I'm amazed your using the standard radiator, which looks like it's about to crack up looking at the colour.

Yeh,thanks jules.I was trying to keep it low bling bling and as tidy as I could to give the whole car a low key look. The air intake will eventually go into the guard and some heat retention/protection to follow . Money has forced that radiator to really earn its keep :D .All of the radiator options seem overly priced! It runs an oil cooler which IMO is an absolute necessity.
