Btw... does anyone know where this Caltex is situated? (after which exit heading west)
Also, I'm assuming that people knows the best places to refuel mid-way? (Don't think many of our cars would hit 600kms on 1 tank the way we're going to be driving).

Hey mate,
There are plenty of petrol stations in the Blue Mountains and Bathurst.
Here is a google map link of the M4 Caltex.
http://maps.google.com.au/maps?q=caltex ... =en&tab=wl
So just a friendly reminder:
Meet on the 8th of Jan (saturday) at the Caltex service station on the M4. Ie as if you are driving to the Blue mountains/Penrtih NOT as though you are driving to Sydney Olympic Park or Sydney
Should be a great day, I'll be PMing the other members about it who said they where keen with the updated info about the run whom probs havent seen it!

Re: NSW: Run to Mount Panorama, Bathurst via Blue Mountains.
Morning all,
Sorry there has been some confusion over route etc - thats my bad!
So plan is:
*Meet at Caltex M4 westbound.
*Drive to Mount Panorama through Oberon and Jenolan Caves.
*For those that are keen can go off to Old Pac or Putty Road on the way home (I'll keep on going down the M4 till my turn off thanks )
I want to try and keep this simple and enjoyable. These drives can be really tiring and I would hate for there to be an accident because somebody was tired from a drive.
I know there is a Putty Road run the next weekend and even that drive itself for some is long so im trying to keep the fatigue factor down!
Route:
http://maps.google.com.au/maps?f=d&sour ... e=UTF8&z=9
Weather for Saturday is most likely going to be mid teens to high twenties, Chance of shower.
Hope to see you all bright and early saturday!
