Hey Tenchi, I forgot to get the disc off you. haha

Next time man.

Thanks to everyone for coming again, I had fun.

Sasso, Nah I have never really used a street directory, haha.

It was ok though, I phoned a mate, woke his ass up and made him google map me.

Not sure how Rotary went but I just got defected for height (fair enough, the exhaust hit halfway down their little 100mm wheel) and one tyre had a bit of wear on the inside (which i was pissed about, its not dangerous).

Apart from that, was a good night! Good to see everyone again. Hope to see you at some track days.

PS. Tenchi I hope you got some good pics of my car coz its gonna look like a 4wd soon.

Well i'm glad i didnt go! i would of been red labeled, considering they are smart enough to look at rotarys car and see a standard airbag wheel, then look at mine and see a different wheel. That stupid little wheel they have, just makes it past my sideskirts then hits the undertray of the car  allwell it happens.

i think the meet at bella vista was good!, no cops, no traffic, just good hanging out! keen to see pics as usual.

Sounds like it was a bit of an adventure for you guys. I wonder whether the clearance wheel thing would've hit my butterfly brace...

At the end of the day, they could have confiscated our cars if they felt like it, and would have been up to us to prove otherwise in court, prob about 6 weeks to get heard, by which time the damage would’ve been done

Also had one tyre with inside wear on the indicators,
so if he kept going franticly over the car like in the first 5 min, he would have found things, but by that stage he was calmer and then stopped to talk(lecture) me face to face, which was good because his attention was now away from the car, whatever he said was reasonable, just doing his job of trying to make the roads a safer place, I guess he initially thought we didn’t respect that so was going off.
We thought we got lucky, but maybe it has nothing to do with luck.

Excuse my wording as im not too law literate :)

What I meant to say is, it may be hard if the officer alleges something like my vehicle appeared reckless and out of control, and I said it wasn’t,
or he may allege something else that will be my word against his.

What would happen in that case?

he would need to get witness statements from those that were there at the time, of your alleged reckless driving.

if it was his word against yours without any witnesses, you'd probably get up on the win. without any evidence, he's buggered.

Thanks to Stan for leading the way and everyone who turned up!!! 8)

It was a good run and im sure everyone had fun on those twisties throught mcarrs creeks...it was a ashame that the cops turned up as we were about to turn off to Church Point. It would have been good if we made it through Akuna bay. Next time boys and girls.

Lucky we manage to all escape unscathed. Well, some of us. :D

Sasso, hope you get the defect/s cleared for todays track day.

See yous all at the next meet!
