Thanks to Sean (Gramps) and Letti for a great well put together run.
Sure make life as Captain easier when members help out.
We had 29 MX5s with the biggest turn out yet of NCs. 7 all up including Salamander's Coupe.

And then there was Kim. Sold her immaculate NA last Saturday for $11.5K in one morning and bought another immaculate NB8B for $20.5K with 43k klms 8) The colour. Red of course.

The run back down Bells Line of Road was quicker than the run up. Even with the White Police car hiding in the bushes

Great to hear that the kick off of the Hunter Chapter was a huge success. :D
Keep up the good work. 8)

Thanks Sean, for another well organised Club Run. Sorry I missed you to say goodbye. The weather was perfect, luckily it wasn't as hot as yesterday! but tell me ... how did you arrange the sunshine at lunchtime in the Imperial Hotel?... and also thank someone for 2 way radios, Phil tipped me off about Mr Plod on the way back at Mt Tomah. I flashed Rob who was in front and we both cruised through at (nearly) the legal limit.
That roadster looks delectable Salamander! very tempting....

Thanks Gramps for a great day! It was a very enjoyable run indeed.

After a visit to Trains, Planes and Automobiles at Mt Vic with Tony and Jen, Matt and Shadow we headed back to Sydney via the Bells Line. The biker boys caught and some passed us at Mt Tomah area, then I got stuck behind one coming down the hill... then he jumped on the brakes hard. WHAT THE!!! Then I realised why, and my feelings for the long haired biker dude in front quickly turned to gratitude as we cruised passed the highway patrol car tucked away in the bushes

And then the rain started  Oh well it was only light rain

 While we were stopped I thought I would take the opportunity and make sure I didn't get caught in any down pour. Unlike you and Matt, I didn't have the tonneau cover on so could easily reach over and pull the top up. I did put it back down at Windsor when the rain had stopped... almost...

Pretty good reviews for my first effort and I am glad it worked out so well for everyone - even people who got a bit lost (no names  ).
And yes, Rog, we looked for you too but must have missed each other in the back corridors of the old pub :!:

And we had the added advantage at Rofe Park of checking out Salamader's NBC which was a very big attraction 8) . However, this was not the reason we were a bit late getting to the Stage 2 group at Windsor - Sorry to keep you waiting guys but I think it was worth it at the end of the day :)

Maybe the Club Captain will let us do it again sometime next year

Glad my car wasn't the cause for the delay :-)

Typical, today I received packages from the UK with my illuminated gear knob, clear side indicators, chrome bezels and ipod adaptor... They'll be fitted for the next event..

:-)

Yeah, I took some shots (not many), but haven't downloaded them from the camera yet. Will post some soon.
