Absolutely! Come along and meet people. Join the club if you feel that it's your type of 'thing'.

For those who would like to meet up beforehand to head off to Maccas together, I will be at Rob's cafe (Forysth Coffee & Tea at Naremburn) at 5am. Leaving at 5:15am sharp to get to Windsor by 6.

Last but not least, a gentle reminder again for those thirsty mx5s.... Make sure you fuel up just before meeting up at Maccas as the whole drive will be over 350kms and premium unleaded is not always available on route

Will not be making this one as I have to work tomorrow morning due to pulling the pin early today because of the heat. Was looking forward to this too.

I do not think i will be making it now.
Mums place down south is being threatened by fires and i might be heading down first thing to help out!

If something changes i will be there, otherwise have a awesome drive!!

Nice... Got up bright and early and found out that the car alarm had been triggered last night so the battery's dead...

Thanks all for a highly enjoyable run. Feels good to drive in a pack of MX5s.

For the guys who were asking at PITS about my fuel usage for the day:
35.97L / 443.0km = 8.12 L/100km.
Worn out B6, intake+full exhaust, O2 sensor unplugged, 98 octane.

Thanks for organising, had a good time; despite a few "pace cars" making the odd appearance we managed some great uninterrupted runs through good twisty bits

was met with non-stop road rage all the way home though... the most notable was when some idiot in a holden ute nearly backed into me leaving his parking spot while I was crawling along looking for a spot (literally like 5-km/h), and I nearly didn't see it coming as his reverse lights were out, managed to dodge him at the last second and bleep the horn to let him know I was there...

I thought I'd do my "civic duty" and let the guy know there was a problem with his lights, and was met with possibly the least mature response I've ever had from an adult; "Yeah f*** you mate your f***ing head doesnt work c***" and drove off. Needless to say I think *his* head was working about as well as his reverse lights :lol:
