Barry , surprise, surprise, I was thinking of you when was I responding in this thread. By the way what is a 5th wheeler and when are you back .I had tull out the 4.1 diff as it was causing some vibration issues thru the drive train. peter from Canberra is looking at it..Hope fully I will reinstall it . also put some slighter stiffer sway bays the nose sits flatter but not too sure about them yet. Re the cornering speed over the standard.

Looking the goods to bring the Clio if we are all ok with that!

The girl and i may be heading to Brisbane that day so i have almost convinced her that it would be a good idea to go for the run with you guys, have breaky and then head off to QLD.
I will have to sacrifice some fun roads and just freeway it but i am ok with that :D

Hey Dweezle, you're more than welcome to join us given that you're a current member of the club (it is a club event afterall).

For people who are non-members, you are still welcomed to join us on the run and get a taste of what our club's all about. After 3 events however, we would need people to support the club's expenses and all of our volunteers' time by becoming a member.

Thanks mate.

Looks like a good roll up too.
Car is with Stu at At Spinning Wheel right now and if all goes as hoped i will be there!

though surrounding myself with that many roadsters may have me doubting my decision :)

Guys, I think this is going to be a fantastic turnout!

Some quick logistical matters:

- Weather looks fine (23-34) mostly sunny;
- There are no fires along the Putty Road according to the Rural Fire Services of NSW website;
- There is a small section of Putty Road that has been scheduled for Roadworks. By small, I mean 50m along the main strip of Colo that comes right after the first sharp downhill left turn. This would NOT affect our schedule at all but I'd thought it'll be good to put it out there;

Maps and guidelines will be provided tomorrow morning. Please be there on time as briefing will start at 6:20am with the aim for a 6:30am departure.

Let's go driving!!! :NA6: :NA8: :NB8A: :NB8B: :NC:

I found a jacket , just looking for a pipe. Where does one acquire a smoking implement these days?

The Tobacconist in North Sydney Station sells them but there's sure to be one in Chatswood where a Gentleman could acquire a suitable example. A traditional Captain may have carved his own on those cold lonely nights behind the wheel of his barge....
