I recall from earlier runs that it takes between 40 to 45 minutes to drive from Heathcote to Wilton on the Old Pacific Highway via Appin. :roll:

If we get to Wilton before 8.00am we will stop on the side of the road opposite the Shell servo and shops to wait until 8.00am before heading off. :idea:

If you are late, you know where to find and catch up or see you at the Pie Shop.

If we are running behind schedule or if you are waiting for us before 8.00am when we get to Wilton then we will drive on :arrow:

and you can jump into a gap or on the back of the bunch.

See you next Saturday morning :wink:

CHANGE OF BREAKFAST VENUE

Due to the response on the thread for Regie’s Southern Run this Saturday, the Cliffhanger Café will not be able accommodate us all in the morning. :oops:

This means we have to go somewhere else for our morning meal and there is nothing else open for brekkie at Bulli Tops on a Saturday morning. :shock:

The venues on the Illawarra coast are a nightmare for parking and already well patronised without all of us trying to get a table after 10.00am this late in the week. :frown:

Robertson is on the route and time wise much closer to your last meal than Sublime Point which means it is ideally placed. The Robertson Pie Shop is a nice place to stop for a pee and pies but not breakfast. :roll:

The Club has stopped at Chats Café on the Illawarra Highway opposite the park in the middle of Robertson before. I have no adverse recollections or reports about the cafe which makes it tomorrow's breakfast venue.

Chats has a traditional breakfast menu or light refreshments for those not into eggs, bacon, sausages etc., in pleasant surroundings. :wink:

Please note that breakfast will be at Chats Café at around 9.00am in the morning.

From breakfast the run will continue on our route to the Princes Highway and back to the city. We can decide on a refreshment stop before we hit the city before we leave Robertson.
