I will be joining you all tomorrow! My leave pass has been stamped, my passport and visas are in order and I have successfully returned from the Shire on Thursday without being detected at the border crossing! Weather is great this afternoon in the mountains, so tomorrow is looking good... see you at Rotten Ronnies in the morning STM

Another excellent run with a great turnout (except those who were too hung over
). I was just sorry I didn't have time to do the Sofala bit as well.
I've got a few photos here ...
We spotted the friendly orange-striped, white Falcon on the way back home again too - he must have had a boring day following us all around and not getting to write any tickets (hopefully no tickets anyway).

Now,now....don't start that again....
I must say the \"almost stock 1.6\" is purring after todays effort.
She just loves these long spirited drives.
some stupid reason i decided not to get petrol at Lithgow. i don't know what possessed me. i kind of knew there wasn't many petrol stations along Bells line of road. But the petrol guage was way past emty, when we got into Kurragong hts. .....I was kinda expecting to get out & walk any second. Just rolling down the hill
anyway, I finally got to a BP in Richmond.....phew.....but it was only 37 liters.....all this time I was getting worried. LOL
Traffic wasn't to bad on the way home. It was certainly there but it was moving.
Driving throughout the day was pretty good too. spirited but controlled.
the whole day was 570km for me.

My round trip was about 460km, and like STM I held off refueling till I got back into the mountains where the price was 10c a litre cheaper
Unfortunately we copped the Sunday night crawl from Wentworth Falls on, with the trip from WF to Hazelbrook (about 6km) taking 30 mins
Rolled into the servo at Hazelbrook on vapours only I think. Average was 8.5l/100km - pretty good considering the amount of WOT time in the day.

P.S. I still have your little present from Wakefield safely stashed away
So Steve, where are you hiding these days... don't see your SP parked on the road at work anymore, however there is a "hektic spek" orange "GOTNOS" MX5 in it's place?
