Yipes! i miss a couple of days and theres about 6 pages to catch up on.
and despite it all my approach hasn't changed, i'll be there. and i'll still be driving purely to enjoy the day, i value my life/license/car/wallet too much to do anything else.

If anyone wants to be a passenger then let me know, though i'll be pulling off at gosford on the way home back down the freeway.
and if rain looks likely sat night/sun morning then i'll be out.
alex/-alex: where do you want to meet up (at some ungodly our of the morning)?
Sasso: i haven't done CA yet!

This is the rain Map we need to be concerned with, doesn't matter how wet my driveway is sunday 5am
i have roughly boxed out a section to keep an eye on, as i will the next day or so
(post more accurate box soon)
EDIT:Layered in a Road Chop from Google, but dimensions only 90%, should be a little wider but gives an idea
Hit refresh on your browser if you cant see the road outline
and post a few updates on how its looking.
map can be found here
http://weather.ninemsn.com.au/radar.jsp?lt=radarz&lc=004&ane=1&anf=0&and=1&ana=7&anb=333&anc=3&lya=1&lyk=1&lye=1
Weather update: 7.30pm Friday. All Clear, Looks good to go.
Sat map shows a large cloud mass moving in (Although it doesn't mean too much)
http://weather.ninemsn.com.au/satellite.jsp
but until i see rain fall in the above location, its on.

For those coming from the north, shall we meet at Thornleigh maccas around the 5am mark? That way it gives us plenty of time to get to Mc Graths Hills

Another good map to look at is the NSW Rainfall Radar
http://weather.ninemsn.com.au/radar.jsp?lt=wzstate&lc=nsw&ane=1&anf=1&and=1&ana=7&anb=333&anc=3&lya=1&lyk=1&lye=1
this one might give a good warning on incoming rain hours ahead.
Only reason i write all this, is because they have been saying rain developing sunday for a week, and now its rain saturday night clearing sunday.
Just a bit sick of the weather report, when they say rain, they say all of sydney, and half the time its rain only in 1 area and totally dry all day in another.
So this aint the sydney weather report. this is the Putty run weather report

I Havn't read the last 15 pages. Still at the Macca's?

Rotary,
You need to stretch your box south to Windsor and north to Singleton then east across to Gosford because that will cover the full run. You dont actually go to Putty, it's down a side road part way along the Putty Road. I've been meaning to go to Putty (the town) one day but have never got around to it.

I should be in Berowra at about 5am (leaving work, Rockdale, at 4am) so if you guys want to meet us at the Mobil in berowra (just north of the Shell) at about 5 then we can take the ferry to get there (unless your 5 is lowered you should be fine).

Yeah, noticed that on google maps, but was using dodgy paint to box it.
Now with a road outline, but i'll give up now , coz even thats a bit off
not a good graphic designer. i'll stick to engines.
Weather Report
