MX5 CLUB WHEEL ALIGNMENT DAY - SATURDAY APRIL 24
Had Stu do the specs on my car after I bought it and it made a vast improvement. Highly recommend Spinning Wheels for anyone wanting to get an alignment done.
Very good price, lots of care taken and fantastic results.

Look out for the wheels/shocks/suspension Tech night coming up at Heasman's in August. After that, we'll have a Tyres tech night too.

Gramps, thank you so much for organising this.
It was a pleasure meeting you yesterday. My car feels a LOT better, the turn-in is excellent and the steering has simply come alive. Well worth the money and the aweful long weekend traffic to get there.
It's a relief to know there's nothing broken down under too.
Fulvio certainly knows his way around tyres and i'll be in touch with him after the next track day when i'll be shopping for my next set.

MX5 CLUB WHEEL ALIGNMENT DAY - SATURDAY APRIL 24
Hi Hamster, I was really pleased at the way you Forum guys supported the event and thank you for turning out on a long weekend. With a couple of extras to cover for dropouts, we pretty much filled our bookings for the whole morning.
I liked the way Stu took the car for a run to get the feel of it before he did any work. By the time he got back he had worked out what he needed to do for the car. I think the cars talk to him! I asked him if he had a standard set ups because he had a number of MX5s of the same model. He doesn't believe in that concept, he said every car is an individual and he never does two the same way. He told me that Slammer was his first MX5 and he has been doing more and more of them ever since. Stu was also happy to talk about the car while he tweaked the settings and discuss options for the next alignment or your questions on suspension and tyres. Fulvio too. Stu wasn't finished until he took the car for another run - and he did some more tweaking to some of the cars if he was not satisfied - then another run to make sure it was right. He is very committed to getting it just right and wants feedback too.
I think everyone who did a trial drive on the street afterwards was surprised at the difference. I'm happy with my car too, the traffic was terrible on the way home, as you said, but I found a series of roundabouts on the back roads to push the car hard and it was definitely better, much more sure footed and I'm going looking for some winding roads to give it a proper run.
It was a worthwhile morning and good catching up and putting faces to names on the Forum.

That's O.K. Regie, these things happen with work. We filled the gaps in the bookings and the day went off well. They even had to work overtime to get through our cars. All the guys seem to be happy with the results and nothing was a trouble to STu and Fulvio. We will repeat the alignment day there next year - you wouldn't go past Stu for the time, interest and attention he gives to your car.
