Hi guys,

Just wanted to say sorry for not showing on wed.

A friend of mine got back from the states that day and wanted to go out for drinks. I found out just as I was getting ready to leave at 8.

I should have told someone ( facebook is the only contact I don't have anyones numbers) and told them the story. For this I apologise and hope you didn't wait for me.

I understand that these meets are for like minded people who are comfortable meeting new folk and to have a good time, I hope I haven't betrayed anyones trust as I'd like to go to a few more of these if I can in the future.

Hope you all had a good time & drove safe.

Cheers,

Alex

Ahh now I'm all cut I missed it. To be honest I didn't think anyone would show since it was raining. Out my way (near Regie's) it was coming down pretty hard around 7pm.

Rain was problematic but wasn't a show stopper.

Driving with aircon on to defrost and still having poor visibility sucks!

Alright, alright! Stayed up to 2.30am doing your pics. GOt the car ones ready, still have yet to upload the ones of us mucking around.
One thing I learnt, I need a new lens OMG, deen those lenses you have are so much sharper than my kit crap. Sorry for my rather agressive post processing, would have liked a slightly better lighting setup with more than one flash rather than me running around the car firing away. Brings out the blue nicely though.

ANyway this is Broady's car. Shot at Akuna Bay, yes it was pouring rain. ANd yes his car wasn't washed...

I'll wash my car next time  Sasso's given me a list of stuff to get so I'll be putting in some hard yards next weekend to get her all shiny!

Love the shots, thanks so much again for the effort from the pro photogs

It's amazing how the colour in the car came out, not a hint of green other than in #5 (which is pretty true to the car's colour I think)

I think #4 is my fav, except for the damn 4WD in the background - will have to photoshop that out. I think the reflection worked out really well.

And I couldn't help but think what the car would look like another inch lower:

Yea we didnt think photoshoot either, it just happened.

I still dig the one where the car drove past, number 7.
Great night even if everyone ended up a little cold and broady ended up stuck in his car LOL
sorry but that was slightly amusing.
