As horrible as this sounds, I hope this gets postponed. . .
Im away that weekend, would love to join this one.
But if not, have a great time.
Just means I have to organise another run.. say a wisemans early morning?

I hope you guys are not going to pull the trick you pulled on Craig the other night.
If siq feels as though it should be prosponed.....fair enough. But don't confuse things.
On that note I'm personally a little hesitant. My tyres are crap & i really don't want to be disrespectfull to the Putty. I would have thought I'd have a new set of tyres by now but they haven't arrived & nor can I afford them right now.

Postponed due to weather or something was more what I was thinking, not just because people are away. Maybe it will rain.

Last year the date was change, 4, 5 or 6 times due to rain, though that was in September.

Hi Alex,
If you know of a good venue or route for an early morning fun run then let me me know. You could post your preferred run as possible route and/or venue for the MX5 Mania Run on the 16 May 2010 if it meets most of the criteria for a MX5 BreakFast Club Run, see link
http://www.mediafire.com/file/iyljv0zymiy/MX5 BreakFast Club Run Criteria.doc
You could even lead a MX5 Breakfast Club run with the added protection of a CAMS permit.

Hi Sliq.
Trying to organise a run for an informal group of like minded people on a day convenient to all is like getting a committee to agree on the design of the perfect automobile. The date should be the date most convenient to the organiser. I assume that the 17 January 2010 was your date on the 21 November 2009. If you want to round up more people then the range of mutually convenient dates reduces in proportion to the increase in numbers. If your run is for you and your mates then that is a fair call but don't then post on the Forum in the manner in which you have.
If you post a run then subject to weather or unforeseen events you should stick with your date. This is not a restatement of a some law but it is a recognised convention. For everyone who is unable to attend there is bound to be someone who reorganised their weekend to join you on the date you posted. If you wanted to canvass the Forum for convenient date then you should have done so before announcing the date for the run.
I made arrangements for the 17th and I know others have done the same thing. I am now committed to run the Putty Road on Sunday week and will do it anyway subject to the weather considerations. Your run is now about a week away and you should make a call now so everyone can plan their weekend.
