Just to add my bit... thanks Stef for another great run up the Putty, great road, great weather, great company
Interesting that we only had 3 radios between 33 cars!... maybe its time to look at UHF-FM. They're cheap, portable and ideal for line of sight communication but I guess that's another topic :?
Looking forward now to Gramps Mountain Run :D

I normally have both AM and UHF but I didnt get my communications centre fitted to the new car in time.

BTW, you will be pleased to know my NC is a real MX5 now, it developed a massive squeak somewhere behind the cabin on the way home. lol.

Stefan once again a great run up the putty. Sorry I couldn't make the whole run but other commitments happen.

Had a great run with no traffic until I caught up with Lou who got stuck behind a car with a trailer. He pulled out to overtake and the sound of the exhaust bouncing the walls was awesome.

Awesome run Stan. 8) We even managed to get a pretty good run along my favourite bit up the hill from the Colo River  Apart from the usual slowish bikes and the obligatry 4WD towing a horse float I had lots of fun. Perfect weather for it too. And how was that old Maceedeees on the Broke road. He seemed to be having lots of fun too. 8) It was nice of him to pull over and let us through for the tight twisty stuff at the end. He must have faith in German engineering too. He flew past those cows like they weren't there.

That goose wasn't moving off the middle of the road was it.
there was a lot of wild life about. The cows, the goose, the bloated wombat, that lizzard in the middle of the road just before Wollombi.

My Putty Rd from the drivers seat debut and it was fantastic!

Highlights: The twisties just after the halfway house (after BigDog JSC and I finally got past the excel and corolla) and the old pac following Stefan up the hill to Pie in the Sky.

Thanks for the run Stan!

My car needed a long run like that to blow out the cobwebs......it is absolutley purring at the moment.

That lizzard....how funny. When i passed it. it didn't move. It didn't move for Garry either....I was watching it in the rearview mirror.
Bloody arrogant little sh*t. Imagine the shitload of cars which must gone past it that afternoon

I've never met Biggles. Nor have I ever seen his car. However, the first guess that popped in my head was.... Biggles!

Ahhh the infamous Biggles! - Who is this guy?

PS: No pics :(

Yep, I have some pics. I will have to download, sort, resize, upload etc. Hopefully this will be done tonight so I can post them.
