BRASS MONKEY EVENT - Sunday 17 July 2016

Meet: Truck Rest Area past McDonalds at the M4 West Service Centre, Eastern Creek
Time: Sunday 17 July 2016 at 5.30 am for a start at 6.00am sharp
Breakfast Venue: Bathurst RSL, 114 Rankin Street, Bathurst starting from 8.15am until 9.30am.

The Brass Monkey is an annual open invitation event to a breakfast organised by the MX-5 Club of NSW that should be on all enthusiasts’ bucket list if you love a great drive on a cold crisp frosty morning in the middle of winter at your chosen pace through the countryside to start your day. It is not a cannonball run on public roads. :roll:

Ignore any misgivings about an Antarctic Vortex this year and join the fun on the 2016 running of the Brass Monkey.

Whether you chose to run with the foxes or cruise at your own pace with the hounds, do not miss your chance to chase the Brass Monkey over the Blue Mountain in your open MX-5 again this year as the sun rises.

Join a mass start at Eastern Creek or make your own way to the Brass Monkey Breakfast at Bathurst. Breakfast tickets cost $20 each with all profits being donated to CareFlight.

i'm 90% certain the missus and i will make the trip up from the south coast. i have rego this week which i cant see any issue passing and if that all goes well ill grab tickets next week.
i hope to see a few people there.

Hi Stan, i asked the same and Midori (michael) said that its open to all as im not a member either.

Unfortunately I'm out with a commitment the night before. Unfortunately my alcohol level will be way past the legal limit probably for another few days after....Id love to join a club run again some time.
