Sorry mate, was hoping that you'd read my late post. The steaks at the GN are pretty good though.....

Should have posted. Great northern is about 100m from home... I was keen on steak too and considered walking up to the GN!

Yeah, GN wasn't too bad. They do 2 for 1 steaks on Tuesdays. So essentially you could get two cook your own steaks + salad bar for less than $7 per head! Maybe something to keep in mind for next time. Actually got there 6pm. At 6:15pm the dinner rush came in and was packed out.
