Yeh that's true. People also need to watch out for those behind them too. When on such drives, you should never take a turn unless you're sure that the person behind has seen you turn off. Sometimes that might mean waiting for a bit on the side of the road and trusting that the driver ahead of you has done likewise. A bit of trust is essential on these runs. Follow these simple rules and it's pretty hard for the group to get lost. Works best of course in low traffic country roads where you're unlikely to hold up other traffic. :D

Sorry Charlie, I gotta side with Guran on that one. The only reason I got separated from the group - three times, no less - was because the car(s) in front didn't want to hang back.

Congratulations to Paul & Di for a great run on Sunday, the run sheet was set out well and the "ks" were pretty well spot on. This area was totally foreign to us and we managed by following instructions. It is certainly a thankless job for the poor people who map these runs and inevitably someone always takes a wrong turn regardless of how well set out the instructions are. Criticism should not be plastered all over this forum until you have actually mapped and lead a run and find the same thing happens to you. Once again well done to our club captain for a thoroughly enjoyable day.

Looked like an awesome drive. I wish I was in Sydney that weekend.

I might have to do it on my own this weekend, as the others have already mentioned, I too read the article in Wheels or Motor, and have wanted to try it ever since.

Hello everyone, what a great day, weather, roads, company, cars and scenery, all very close to the city.
My apologies to those who I mislead by an incorrect street name on the run.
Thank you to Rockitman and KRM for the great photos of the run, Di liked your arty shot with the cars in front and in the rear view mirror.
I am looking for people to do runs in their backyard, because I don't know your backyard, send me a message and we can talk.
We could do this run again as a breakfast drive and finish at Wollongong, instead of Campbelltown, and do some other interesting roads.
Regards Paul.
Talk to you later.
so much fun, why didn't I get one sooner !!!!!!
