Anyone keen for a speed off the streets day ?

I know theres the mx5 club of NSW track day coming up,
(I cant make it, doh!)

I need to go to Wakefield to do my OLT for my AASA racing licence, and it can be done @ any speed of streets day, so just wondering if anyone is going down to wakie soon or been thinking about it, perhaps could organise the same day?

sounds good, do you work on weekends or are these days always on weekdays? if so, i probably can't go. 9-5 mon-fri FTL!!

Chris we can organise for it to take place in the practice or quali session on the day of the AASA race meeting if this is any help.

So could I perhaps do it on the Oran Park day if there is an MX5 round in december with MRA? do the practice/qualifying then and race after that?

Or does it have to be done well before that event?

No mate, can be done the morning of the event.

The dates for the MRA events are -

Sunday October 25th at Wakefield Park (last one day event we got 6 or 7 races and 2 lots of qualifying if you did both catagories...... I did 156 km on track in the one day!!)
Saturday December 12th at Oran Park on the GP circuit for what I understand is the last weekend of racing at this circuit - in 2009

Yeah I want to enter the december 12th event at OP GP - my concern is I dont want to turn up hoping I can get it done and race, and then it not happening, unfort I cant make the wakie weekend

So when the entry forms come out for the 12th December, I can enter straight away and maybe put TBA on licence forms?

Still might head out to wakie if people go before hand anyway!

Round 1 of NSW Supersprints in 2010 is probably going to be 16th January (or thereabouts) at Oran Park GP. At least that's what was announced last weekend at Round 8. Apparently NSWRRC are trying to set it up.
