NSW Club 9th September Run

Postby Charlie Brown » Thu Aug 23, 2007 1:50 pm

When: Sunday 9th September, a week earlier than we normally have our run so as not to conflict with Wakefield or Floriade.

Meeting: Car Park beyond the fuel pumps at the Star Service Station, Eastern Creek, on the F4 heading west.

Time: 10.00am for a 10.30 departure.

Details: Join us on a run through the Blue Mountains as we explore a few of Sydney’s most spectacular sights and towns. We will be travelling through towns like Springwood, Leura and Katoomba before heading to Mount Victoria.
Lunch will be at the exquisite Imperial Hotel, Mount Victoria.
After lunch we head off to the Bells Line of Road before stopping for afternoon tea at Bilpin. There will be regular breaks along the way to stretch the legs, use the facilities, nose around and generally have a good chat with each other about the sights and of course MX5’s!

Having just done a similar run in a Pulsar, I can't wait to do this in the 5.

Count me in!

Don’t forget our run this weekend fellow Club members.

Hopefully we will have fine weather, but then it’s always fine on a Club run isn’t it? 8)

 Make sure that you know where the start point is as we haven’t gone from here before, to my knowledge.

Come on Stan, there’s only one Club run a month and there’s another 30 days in the month to do the mumbo.

Oh and it’s my wedding anniversary the following weekend and I’m sneaking off to Wakefield.

 Get the kids minded and bring Mrs STM along for the run and then book into one of the many hotels up the mountains on Sunday night for your anniversary.

Mrs STM will love it. 8)

I'm planning on going. Look out for a silver NB8B. I'll probably turn up with Pinkie who may not go the whole trip.

Hopefully my club badge will turn up before then.

Damn the torpedoes! All ahead flank!

Despite you all driving past our front door we won't be able to join you on this one :frown: Will be in Marrickville for the Festival with the family. Be prepared for some serious traffic jams tomorrow. Deb spent several hours in traffic on Friday going from Warrimoo to Blackheath and back again! It seems everyone decided to go west for APEC long weekend...
