I just came across the Classic Rally Club of NSW web page, and got thinking it would be interesting to hold a Sydney region MX5 navigation challenge.
The classic rally club get CAMS approval for their events and it all seems very serious... like a 2 day event traveling over 800km... which I think is too much for your average weekend club event.
Would anybody else be interested in a greater-sydney region navigation challenge, where all speed limits must be obeyed? I was thinking we could limit the area from Gosford in the north-east, to Windsor in the NW, to Picton in the south.
Maybe start at Rofe Park (Hornsby Heights), then to Windsor, for a regroup/coffee, then to finish at Picton Pub?

Sounds like a great run. Could be modified for one a day event. Come up with a plan and send it to any of us on the Committee!
All speed limits MUST be obeyed? Sounds like quite a challenge for all of us, but then we all know that the MX5 Club never exeeds the speed limit when on runs!!!!
