Where do you find all of those great roads Garry?
That road going uphill through the rainforest with the overhanging cliff face was spectacular, not just from the views, but the road itself was just magic.

I was expecting Basil Faulty to pop in any time during lunch!
After waiting for an hour for my lunch, when it came it was burned!!!
The company more than made up for it though.

Thanks again Garry, and look after that hand.
That's a nasty place to get a stitch.

Hope that little scratch on your hand gets better too

Little scratch! I had to undergo surgury on that \"Little Scratch\"!! :P

George,

When I first got my licence I used to do a lot of exploring and originating from Wollongong that area is sort of my back yard. Unfortunately I've forgotten a lot of the good roads, and I no longer do much exploring.

That little bit into Douglas Park has always been one of my favourites. As well as the long sweepers and the run through the gorge across the one way bridge just after Appin. Yesterday was the first time I'd ever seen a Hwy Patrol car there though. Luckily he must have been in a good mood. I was enjoying the road just a little to much when I passed him and he only gave me a warning flash to tell me to slow down.

My missus & I add our thanks to Garry, Richard and Phil for organising and managing the run. The weather, the roads and the company made it a great day.

Also great to meet up with a few of our ACT members, and really looking forward to the Floriade weekend.

Hope the newbies also enjoyed the run, and maybe we'll get a few more members.

I have sent my photos to Bob Gage on the club website. so let's consolidate them all there.

Thanks Garry for a great day, well, til the trip back. My mood and the traffic spoiled what was by your reports a fun drive.

Was great to catch up with everyone and meet some new people. It's always a pleasure to go on club runs but the tyrany of distance prevents me from doing it enough.

To those that had a bad lunch experience I'll give you a tip. Always sit with rjastra. Richard has a knack of being served first. No problem with my meal, I must have used all my luck at lunch time.

Thanks to Cambo for co-driving, especially on the way home. For some crazy reason I decided after dinner that we should go home. That we did, arriving in Tamworth at 1am.

With a bit of luck I might be able to make the run up the Putty next month as I have to be in Sydney the night before for a family function. Not sure if I'll be in Cow Poo Brown or not so i may have to lurk around the back.

PS: I had a drive of an NC on Saturday and have to say I was very impressed with the improvement over my NB8A. Spent all day doing the sums to see how I can afford one. MMMmmmmm

Yeah irwin83r, I noticed you disappeared at the Illawarra Hwy exit. We continued on to the Berrima exit and took the scenic route to Moss Vale then on to Jamberoo. We stopped at the Pie Shop and there seemed to be a lot of traffic heading down Maq Pass so we went via Jamberoo. We had to pass 2 cars at the top then had a clear run all the way down. Unfortunately Kuntry Kuzzin didn't get past the two cars up the top so got held up.

A pie run sounds like fun. :D

KK,

I think you should keep Poo Brown and turn it into MP4. A bit of turbo goodness is all it needs. :P
