We had a club member keep the standard radiator on his monster 1.6.
He kept it because it was lighter (carried less water) but after seeing how much cooler it ran once he was forced to upgrade to an aftermarket radiator he was kicking himself he hadn't upgraded sooner.
I think it's a good insurance policy on any turbo engine.

I'd just like to say thanks to CB and the guys from Dumar for organising the day. It ran very well and I think everyone had a good time.
After seeing how much of a difference the T piece mod has made I had to fit it myself on Sunday. It makes a bloody big difference. Pulls a hell of a lot harder above 4500rpm after the valve timing has kicked in. I'll have to look for another T piece with a tap velve in it so I can switch between high and low boost.
Al, once again that thing is a work of art, and good to see the fruits of your labour have paid off.
