Could be interested. It'll be good just to catch up with you again.
I'll try to contact a Nissan uber-fanboy to come with us with one of his rare beasts.

I see the MX5 Club of QLD is organising a gathering to go, so might tag along with them if I can.

I'm planning on being there. And if past events, and the Jap Classic day earlier in the year, are any indication, there'll be a group of owners who aren't on the forums too.

Would also like to do Cars N Coffee on the Saturday, so just deciding on whether to do one or the other, or see if i can get away with doing both :)

There are more Potatoes here than you realize Lachy!
There is also a Pre-meet that is generally slept through by most at a hairdressers down the road. This is an old photo from a couple of years ago, though this is about half the MX5 turnout for the first Jap day this year.

Yeah, I missed that pre-meet meet, but did get along to that year's show. Though my car has never been on the lawn.

Unfortunately I think you need to pick either the Jap Day or the Cars and Coffee. Unless you just wanted to park up the street for the Jap day instead of show your car. I love the Cars and Coffee, but I'll pick the Jap Day, one is monthly one is yearly.

Thanks for the heads-up. I think it's for the best. Even if the weather clears up by Sunday, the lawns will be quite soggy and having 100+ cars drive around would destroy them!

But how much fun would it be!

Hello all.

I am the host for the 'Roadster Nakama All Jap Day Pre-meet'

From what I understand the event has been pushed back again to this Sunday, the 3rd of July! Weather looks like it will hold out for us this time.

I'd love to see a bunch of new faces there (apart from the 20 odd that are supposedly coming that are new :P) and old faces from my adventures over the past few years.

We are meeting up at 'Ricco Brankovich Gents Hairdresser' (338 Melton Rd, Northgate, 4013) at 0645 for a convoy to the actual event, leaving the premeet at no later than 0720.

A bunch of SPR guys usually get bored of hard parking and leave before lunch. We can work out where we will be off too in the morning if people want to tag along on the small SPR cruise that may be happening (Most likely doing the northern mountains - Nebo, Glorious, Mee)

It'll be cold, but no excuses! Put a cardigan on

:NETPOINTZ:
