Throwing it out there if anyone is up for a Dodgy Day before the end of the year?
If not we could possibly do some form of social event instead.

Count me in, however not sure when I will be home in the next few months.

If needed happy to offer my place up again to host it (provided I'm home).

I'm keen to come turn a spanner for people.

Would anyone have experience in installing flush bonnet pins? I've had them sitting in my room for a few months but I'm not game in cutting up my bonnet by myself.

Who's up for a clutch change? (Joking!!!!)

So you won't need a trailer again if the bonnet pin install does not go as planned :). What type of pins? Like the aero catch?

I have to replace the rear main seal and would really appreciate some help to lift the box back in. This might be the opportunity to have a dodgy day in Burpengary. Have space, tools, tank water and BBQ available. 16th or 23rd November would be possible. Keen to meet other mx5 drivers for a good old gas bagging or tinkering. Will PM the address if interested.
Cheers

16th suits me.
How does it fair for others?

I would be at work on 16 and 23 Nov, notwithstanding I would be happy to travel to Burpengary and help on 30/11 (or any Sat/Sun in December). We could all catch up for coffee at the BP in the morning then off to Dodgy Day :)

I heading overseas from the 20th Nov until the 23rd Dec, so unfortunately I'm probably unable to attend. I'm sure the wife will have things for me to do 4 days before we leave. :(

CaptainNate those are very easy to install on a NA6. Do you have the template for the holes? It only takes a few hours with just a few tools (piece of chalk, masking tape, air powered panel saw, die grinder and a drill).

Didn't come with a template, but I can knock one up before hand. I'll have to see what tools I can pinch from Dad :)

Air knibbler and die grinder available as well as aviation tin snips.

I'd use a dremel and cutting disc.

There were some counterfeit aerocatches around, I know the proper ones come with a template in the packaging so make sure they'll be strong enough.
