Hi all!
As you all know, I've been planning a photoshoot run with a few guys and I thought I'd make it official by posting it up in events.
I know its only a few days away, but I kind of want to see who's keen before setting a starting location and time (So I can accommodate those who are working.)

I'm thinking we can meet up around 7 - 7:30pm up the top of Mt Cootha in the large dirt carpark (On the side facing the city...if anyone doesn't understand where I mean, I'll make a map ) or we could meet up with the guys who are going up to Jolly's Lookout, if they're still going, then head out from there.

Any ideas for locations to go will be super appreciated. So far the list is pretty short, but includes Kangaroo Point, Story Bridge, Cootha, River shots (if we can find a place) and I wouldn't mind playing around with a bit of Firebreathing shots (I'll have all my protective/safety gear with me plus plenty of cleaning rags and water, if I get told off by the authorities I'll simply stop - but it is NOT illegal, just frowned upon )

We can stop for nibbles, icecreams and pleasantries at some form of greasy-food-selling-place later during the night.

EVERYTHING is changeable at this stage, depends on where everyone is coming from/when they could get there and so on.
I suppose the earlier start the better, but being a Friday night we might have some troubles parking at some places.

So anyway, if you're keen, throw your name down - so far we have:

Apart from the fact that my car still has a smooshed in guard, I be working the next couple of Friday nights so won't be able to go I like me a good photohoot.

If all goes well, I suppose we can try and make it a monthly thing like the Nebo run
It's pretty rare that I get a friday off however

Doesn't matter if you have an DSLR, 35mm, Box or Disposable. BRING A CAMERA!

More cameras equal more one in a lifetime shots.

I'm bringing a passenger to take action shots of us driving from location to location, just a thought for everyone.

If you don't bring a camera, you won't be shunned don't worry EVERYBODY is welcome.

Steampunk is also planning a run up Mt Nebo to Jolly's Lookout (The photo squad won't be going), so there are plenty of things for us five-lovers to do Friday night

Also, other car models are welcome, of course.

Is this still on tonight? I might come out for a bit of a drive

Ah bugger. My MX5 was badly damaged during the hail storm, won't be coming unless I want to show up in a "chicken pox mobile".

Yep! This is still a-go!

6:30 meet, up the city-looking side of cootha (come up the first left after the planetarium, you'll see us)

I will admit, not very well planned, but we'll have a bunch of fun regardless

Just got home

Brilliant night, had a good catch up with some guys - met some new friendly faces!

Definitely shall be repeated, however with a bit more preparation! (and hopefully not a failed brake-upgrade hours before)

Shall put up a picture thread in 'multimedia' for everyone to have a gander/put pics up

I was away for this, but let me know when the next is planned. An idea for a spot could be by one of the lakes at Springfield. Nice n close.
