Hey guys,

come & join the coasters on a fun & relaxed breakfast run on 24/2/08, our first chapter run for the year.

7.45 am meet at Bunnings Nerang for 8.15 departure. We will head to Mudgeeraba with a quick 5 - 10 min stop for photos at The Panorama if it is a clear morning, then off through the back of Nerang, Maudsland & Coomera before settling in at Sanctuary Cove for a nice breakfast by the water at around 9.30.

After breakfast, for those who would like to drive off breakfast, there will be a short run from Sanctuary Cove back through Maudsland, out towards Canungra & up the 'goat track' to Tamborine & onto the Eagle Heights Hotel for more refreshments.

We have booked the breakfast venue but not at the Eagle Heights pub - we figure we can leave it up to individuals if they want lunch or just a few drinks.

I will need final numbers for breakfast by 17/02 as I need to confirm with the cafe on Mon 18/02.

Jules ...you are such a wimp at times. I have to dump my mother off at her house some time in the wee hours because we are going to see a show in Brissy the night before. SHE was expecting brekky at my place on Sunday, ...but I just told her where my priorities are. Simple. Come on, be a man and make it happen. The kids will get over it.

...We NEED The Canary on at least one run this year!

Oooh Jules, soooo much pressure.

And as for the rest of you, you oughta lighten up on Jules. After all, \"mummy\" is always so welcoming to you guys and your Dodgy Wingzzzzzzz Days. Maybe she actually has a life away from 5s - unlike the rest of us...

Oh, well that's okay then, I'll just relax and watch the sport
you Queenslanders are a most unusual sort, aren't you? :?

OK you lot, looks like the cage door has been left wide open!

I'm not a Queenslander, but I wouldn't live anywhere else. You can't change your State of Origin you know. Bit of a shame isn't it AJ :P

I'll tell you what Darby. Put your money where your mouth is and offer up your pasty coloured, neglected and disused SP, and I'll make sure at least one of the Lawson-Smyth's make the run :P :P

At this stage we are looking OK, just need to organise the 4 and 5 year olds for the morning with some friends (haven't told them yet), cancel some baseball, and the 10 year old can either go to a friends house, or stay at home (yes he is responsible enough as his IQ is nearly as high as his run challenged Dad   , not that it's ever served me that well)

Happy?
Shakes head and walks away muttering something about Heckle and Jeckle

For the unititiated, remind you of anyone here?

Image

\"Heckle is slightly more cynical than Jeckle. Both of them treat their mutual enemies with threats and rudeness, but Heckle will usually make his intentions clear from the outset, while Jeckle will (at first) treat enemies politely in order to lull them into a false sense of security before unleashing magpie mayhem.\"

I am far more unreliable than he is.

I'm a Peacock not a Magpie.... Ask anyone.
