Its on again! This year, we will take a short drive out west, taking in some meandering roads with excellent scenery after the rain. Starting just west of Brisbane at 9am, we will have morning tea at Lake Moogerah before hopping across to Lowood for lunch.
Lunch will be at the Lowood Tavern, where a set lunch has been organised. For the princely sum of $15, you will get a (pre-ordered) choice of country style rissoles, roast of the day or fish, all served with vegetables. You will also get a dessert of apple pie and ice cream. Spaces are limited so get in early to avoid disappointment.
For those who have already rsvp'd, you will get an email in a couple of days with further details.
RSVPs ARE ESSENTIAL!! If you would like to attend this run, please email tednjac@bigpond.net.au or call 0419 783663 by 19/Jan/08.
We have had over 50 cars on this run the previous 2 years, lets see what this year brings.

Places are filling extremely fast. I have just spoken to the pub and they will be closing the restaurant for us that day. We will be capping it at 80 people, and we are well past 60 already.
If you haven't emailed or rung us, please do so immediately. Unfortunately forum posts will not do as we need to email more info to you after the rsvp, plus I don't know who you are from most forum names.
Should be a great day anyway. The roads are excellent and I hope no one is disappointed. I did disappoint myself in turning around when we came across 7km of good dirt road. I would have happily gone through but could hear the collective groan of MX5 owners tip-toe'ng through at 10km/h. Of course this meant that we had to go back 32kms to find a different decent road.

Well, we have passed 80 people for lunch, and about 50 cars for the drive. Lets just hope all those who said they are showing up do so as those who missed out will be very unimpressed otherwise.
See you all on the day.
